Man arrested after €300k cannabis seizure

Gardaí have seized nearly €300,000 of cannabis and cocaine and have arrested a man in his 30s following an intelligence-led operation in Cork City.

Armed with a search warrant officers from Anglesea St district drugs unit, aided by uniformed gardaí from Barrack St, searched a house in the Turner’s Cross area on Monday night.

They discovered a small quantity of cannabis herb and cocaine there before carrying out a follow-up search at a storage unit at Centre Park Rd.
