Mother of 15 fined €150 after ‘hell for leather’ row

A mother of 15 who rarely gets out went “hell for leather” in a drunken row with another woman in Ballincollig, Co Cork, a court has heard.

Judge Aingil Ní Chondúin described the behaviour of Ann Mongans, of 144 Greenhills Court, South Douglas Rd, Cork, as a shocking waste of Garda time.

Insp Pat Meaney said the incident, which occured outside a pub at Main St, Ballincollig, Co Cork, came to the attention of gardaí on the night of Sept 17, 2011.
