GAA player pleads guilty

Former Donegal GAA captain Kevin Cassidy appeared in court yesterday with his brother charged with an affray.

Cassidy, aged 30, of Cotteen, Derrybeg, pleaded guilty to threatening unlawful violence.

His brother Stephen, aged 37, Upper Brinaleck, Gweedore, pleaded guilty to assault causing harm.

The incident happened on Aug 24, 2008, at Ard na gCeapairi, Derrybeg. Judge John O’Hagan adjourned the case until July.
