IKEA hours

IKEA’S flagship Irish store will celebrate the start of the new year by opening an hour earlier on weekdays.

The Swedish home furnishing giant’s massive outlet in Ballymun will open at 10am on weekdays from next Monday — an hour earlier than has been the case since it opened in 2009. The original 11am weekday opening time was among several planning conditions set down by An Bórd Pleanála to eliminate any prospect of traffic congestion during peak hour traffic.
