Man, 41, killed after horrific crash with lorry

A 41-YEAR-OLD man became the 167th person to die on Irish roads this year after the car he was driving was involved in a horrific crash with a lorry on the main Cork to Limerick road.

The accident happened on the N20 near the village of Rathduff at 9.25am yesterday and resulted in the road being closed for a number of hours.

Gardaí said they wouldn’t be releasing the name of the dead man until all his relatives had been contacted.
