Gardaí seek help with teenager’s murder hunt

GARDAÍ investigating the murder of an 18-year-old Dundalk man believe there are people withholding information on the killing – including the motive – and have appealed for them to come forward.

After a post mortem was carried out on Niall Dorr, from Avondale Park in Co Louth, yesterday, gardaí launched a formal murder enquiry into the death.

Two men, aged 21 and 23, arrested on Thursday evening, were still being questioned by officers at the time of going to press, while a third man aged 30 was arrested yesterday.
