Bublé belts ’em out

HEART-THROB crooner Michael Bublé got a Lansdowne Road roar last night as he sang his heart out in the first concert at the Aviva Stadium.

Bublé belts ’em out

A crowd of up to 50,000 descended on the state-of-the-art stadium in Ballsbridge to hear the crooner belt out such time-honoured numbers as Crazy Love as he kept the audience enthralled for over two hours.

“He’s gorgeous,” wailed a fan from Cork who had taken the special train to Dublin to get her Bublé “fix”.

Another 40,000 plus fans are expected at the stadium tonight for Bublé’s second concert in Dublin.

Concern had been expressed in advance of the concert that the acoustics at the stadium might not have been up to scratch but 50,000 fans gave the lie to that.
