Radical renewal plans for Limerick

WHAT is being hailed as the most radical plan to tackle social deprivation in this country was yesterday unveiled in Limerick by President Mary McAleese.

Separate vision plans for Moyross on the northside, and Southill and Ballinacurra Weston on the southside, titled Our Community, Our Vision, Our Future, form road maps for the social, physical and economic regeneration of the estates.

The two vision plans will be the vehicle for the implementation of the report to government by former Dublin city manager John Fitzgerald.
