The regeneration of two of Limerick's most notorious neighbourhoods will transform the lives of residents and allow them to take charge of their future, President Mary McAleese said today.

President Mary McAleese is due in Limerick today to officially launch two major regeneration projects.

A Limerick man was charged at the Special Criminal Court in Dublin today in connection with a garda swoop on a suspected Continuity IRA training camp in Co Waterford in August last year.
