City throws free party to thank litter-free parish

LIMERICK is to salute a city community for the manner it has tackled litter.

Litter pick-ups in Our Lady Queen of Peace parish left the neighbourhood squeaky clean.

Community co-ordinators appointed to fight anti-social behaviour came up with the idea.
