Business and engineering among 150 courses with vacant places to fill

BUSINESS, engineering and computing courses are prominent among the 150 which have vacant places to be filled after the first round of CAO college offers on Monday.

Of almost 150 courses offering vacant places by 4pm yesterday, one-third were Level 8 higher degrees, mostly in business, engineering and computing.

The bulk of vacant places were on ordinary degree and higher certificate (level 7 and 6) courses, again with the same disciplines prominent.
