Mayor takes a leaf from Arnie’s book

THE Mayor of Limerick is taking a lead from Arnold Schwarzenegger, the actor turned Californian governor, on how to get his message across.

Like the hulky governor, Cllr Diarmuid Scully will give weekly broadcasts on the internet, called podcasts.

Mr Scully said: “A podcast is a sound recording broadcast on the internet, which can be downloaded and played on a computer or iPod. I will be making a podcast each week on matters of importance to the city of Limerick.”
