TD told to provide details of cash from developer

FIANNA FÁIL Deputy GV Wright was ordered by the Mahon Planning Tribunal yesterday to provide details of payments, or political donations, received from developer Robert White.

Mr White, a Dublin jeweller, was behind a major housing and hotel venture earmarked for lands owned by the Duff family at Swords, Co Dublin, in the early 1990s. Mr Wright, who represented the Malahide area on Dublin County Council, had known the Duffs for years.

Tribunal chairman Judge Alan Mahon yesterday gave Mr Wright a few weeks to supply the information first requested by the tribunal in May 2003.
