Arrest in Turkish blast that killed Irish girl

The 17-year-old from Ballyduff was one of five people who died in the bus explosion, just hours before she was due to fly home from her sun holiday in the resort of Kusadasi on July 16, 2005.

Since then, investigators have been pursuing the man they believe was responsible, and made the arrest after he re-entered the country from a visit to northern Iraq where they believe he was being trained by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, of which he is said to be a member.
