A MAJOR painting from le Brocquy’s celebrated Tinker series will lead the 23 Irish works at Sotheby’s sale of British and Irish art in London on December 10.

Sotheby’s, which sold a black ground Famille Rose bowl from the Alfred Beit Foundation for £434,500 (about €540,000) in London in November, will hold valuation days for Chinese ceramics and art in Dublin on September 1 and 2.
