Dublin and Galway to hold Savita memorials as Indian politician calls for change to Irish law

Candlelight vigils will be held in Dublin and Galway later today to remember Savita Halappanavar, who died three weeks ago following a miscarriage at Galway University Hospital.
It is understood the 31-year-old dentist died from blood poisoning. Her husband Praveen has claimed she was denied a termination after the couple requested one a number of times.
