Nowhere in Ireland is safe from drugs and gang warfare, an opposition TD warned tonight as gardaí investigated whether the country’s latest gun murder was drugs related.

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have arrested six people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man at a house party in Clonmel last night.

A murder inquiry was under way today after one man was shot dead and another seriously wounded in a gun attack at a house party near Clonmel, Co Tipperary.
