Six arrests made following Clonmel shooting

Gardaí in Co Tipperary have arrested six people in connection with the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old man at a house party in Clonmel last night.

A second man in his 30s is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit in the arm during the gun attack in the Kilganey area of the town.

The six people taken into custody over the incident are believed to be five men and a woman.

They are understood to have been arrested at various addresses in Clonmel this morning.
