The wife of a 31-year-old man on trial for murder has given evidence that he stabbed her and her cousin several weeks after she left him.

A 31-year-old man has gone on trial for allegedly stabbing his wife and killing a relative of hers at an apartment in Drogheda, Co Louth.

A 31-year-old man will go on trial at the Central Criminal Court tomorrow morning charged with murdering a man and assaulting a woman in Louth last year.
