Crimestoppers has offered a cash reward for information that will help Gardaí solve eight outstanding cases involving women.

A sadistic stalker harassed nine different women over a six-year period by threatening them over the phone and sending obscene mail telling them they'll meet the same fate as missing women like Jo Jo Dollard and Deirdre Jacob, a court has heard.

Mary Phelan, sister of missing woman Jo Jo Dollard, who has not been seen since 1995, is calling on the Taoiseach to introduce a National Missing Person’s Day.
