Family mark 19 years since disappearance of Jo Jo Dollard

The family of Josephine 'Jo Jo' Dollard have gathered on the 19th anniversary of her disappearance.

The 21-year-old was trying to hitchhike from Dublin to her home in Callan, Co Kilkenny on the night of November 9, 1995, when she went missing.

She was last seen in Moone, Co Kildare, as she called a friend from the phone box there.

At the time, it was thought she may have got into a dark coloured Toyota Carina car, but the vehicle, or its occupants, were never traced.

There were also reported sightings in nearby Castledermot, on the same night.

Relatives and friends of Jo Jo gathered earlier at the Missing Persons memorial in the grounds of Kilkenny Castle.
