Crimestoppers has offered a cash reward for information that will help Gardaí solve eight outstanding cases involving women.

The organisation is seeking information relating to the suspicious deaths of three women and the disappearance of five others between 1987 and 2003.

The three dead women are Antoinette Smith and Patricia Doherty, whose bodies were both found in the Dublin Mountains, and Marie Kilmartin, who was found in dead in Portarlington, Co Laois.

The missing women are Claire Boylan, Ciara Breen, Jo Jo Dollard, Imelda Keenan and Annie McCarrick, who all disappeared in Dublin, Louth, Kildare and Waterford between 1993 and 2003.
