ISEQ-listed oil and gas exploration and production company Dragon has reported a 52% increase on last year in the average daily production of barrels of oil for the six-month period ended 30 June 2007.

ISEQ-listed exploration company Dragon Oil saw a 6% increase year-on-year in gross production in 2006, with an average of 20,514 bopd (barrels of oil per day).

ISEQ-listed exploration company Dragon Oil has announced that Essa Almulla has resigned his post of executive director and chief executive officer, with effect from today.

SHARES in Dragon Oil rocketed 14% yesterday after the exploration company confirmed it had received an approach to buy a major shareholding.
