The pope’s ambassador, Archbishop Michael Courtney, gunned down in a hail of bullets in Burundi, was buried in his home town today.

The Irish archbishop murdered by rebels in the central African State of Burundi will be buried in his hometown of Nenagh, Co Tipperary, today.
