The Court of Criminal Appeal has upheld the seven-year prison term imposed on a Limerick man who was was caught in possession with almost €500,000 worth of drugs and guns, following an appeal from the DPP that the sentence was unduly lenient.

A 35-year-old man charged in connection with a massive drugs and firearms seizure in Limerick last week has been further remanded in custody.
