A Tipperary invasion of Dublin is usually associated with sport but, next week, it’s food-related when some of the county’s top producers will be in the capital to showcase their wares.

DIETING is definitely not on the menu tonight as the Tipperary Food Producers once again tantalise the tastebuds of food lovers from all over the country with their annual Long Table Dinner, which takes place in the historic grounds of Cashel’s Rockwell College.

EVERY €10 spent on local food products leads to an injection of €34 into the local economy and helps employ thousands of people around the country, producers said yesterday.
