Two previously unpublished reports into the ‘Grace’ foster abuse sex scandal will be published early next week, Disabilities Minister Finian McGrath confirmed yesterday.

The HSE has again contacted senior gardaí for clarity on whether it can publish two reports into allegations of serious sexual and physical abuse at a partially State-funded foster home.

The Government is unlikely to accept a partial publication of two HSE reports into the Grace foster abuse scandal and may attempt to force their immediate and full release if they are not made public this week.

Disabilities Minister Finian McGrath will meet attorney general Máire Whelan on Thursday to discuss the draft terms of reference for the state inquiry into alleged foster-care abuse.
