A SHANNON-BASED firm that provides testing technology to ensure the International Space Station is not at risk of shut-down, is set to double its workforce over the next three years.

Shannon technology company Bustec Ltd has secured a €21m contract to supply data and testing equipment for the US Navy.

THE Minister for Enterprise, Jobs and Innovation, Richard Bruton, is expected to announce in Shannon tomorrow 300 jobs for two new Shannon firms and a “very significant” contract secured by an existing company.
