Tots to Teens: Bringing colour to a grey world in Stockingopolis
Stockingopolis is published by O’Brien Press and it retails for €14.99
Ben and Lucy live in Stockingopolis, and they are bored with grey. They love colour and decide to do something about it. They daub one sheep with their bright paints, and suddenly, everything changes.
This is the premise of the latest children’s book by Meath-based author and illustrator Tatyana Feeney. It’s also a story inspired by Balbriggan, the seaside town in County Dublin that was once world famous for its stockings. So reading it to your kids could be considered a fun activity and a history lesson in one.
