Only the Best for West

No surprise here that the most spoiled of spoiled brats appears on the list.

Yes, it's Kanye.

Apparently, Mr West was so unhappy with the bumpiness of the carpet at a BBC gig, he demanded that they were ironed.

As part of his rider, the rapper and all-round narcissist has previously asked for all-white decor in his dressing room, with an $8,000 bed in the green room for his daughter North.

Yeezy also previously requested that all vases in his hotel room must be cylindrical while he prefers black towels only.

Her Madgesty’s Throne

No list of celebrity rider requests could be complete without at least one entry from her Madgesty. And it seems there is one room behind the scenes that Madonna is particularly uptight about - the jacks.

According to reports, each venue must provide the queen of pop with a new toilet seat in every bathroom. To ensure that she is the only person to touch it, it must be wrapped in plastic to allow her people to open it.

The venue is also asked to properly dispose of it immediately after Madge is finished with it as to avoid any sales on eBay to committed fans - which is a bit of a bum note.

Lust for a laugh

When you think Iggy Pop, you think brilliantly outrageous and, not surprisingly, Iggy’s rider list contains some of the most out there demands in music history. According to reports, Iggy’s list of requirements can run to 28 pages and can read more like a crazed kidnapper's demands rather than that of a rock star.

Among the more ridiculous ones over the years include a Bob Hope impersonator back stage to entertain Iggy and his troops and a copy of US Today which must contain at least one story about morbidly obese people.

Ever the compromiser though, if these can't be found, Iggy once settled for being welcomed backstage by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. And, if dwarfs can’t be found, un-vertically challenged people dressed as dwarfs was good enough as, according to his people, it’s the attitude not the height of the fake seven dwarfs that counts,

We feel like iggy may just be pulling everyone's leg with those requests.

Strop Gear

Jeremy Clarkson along with his other Top Gear co-stars reportedly had a list of almost 120 items that needed to be in the green room on set for their show.

Essentials included: a couch that can comfortably seat six people, hair wax, steak knives, balsamic vinegar, HP Sauce, 24 bottles of Peroni beer, Bombay Sapphire gin, tonic, ice and lemon chilled in a fridge with at least four shelves.

Drinks were to be served on tables covered with linen, and the green room must be near a McDonald's.

But it wasn’t all snacks and drinky-poos on the Top Gear rider.

The adrenaline junkies did show their wild side as they insisted on having the board games Scrabble and Pictionary in the room too.

Wild.

Cardboard cut out? No Hassel.

One of the most bizarre but brilliant celebrity demands comes from The Hoff himself.

David Hasselhoff has been known to order a life-size cut-out of David Hasselhoff to accompany him in his dressing room.

Is it because he likes to look at himself in cardboard form? Does he forget what he looks like? Does he think this will fool anyone? Why not just ask for a mirror, Dave? Can we call you Dave?

So many questions.

Katy “Don’t talk to me” Perry

Katy Perry allegedly had an “extensive rider” (that’s industry terminology for “she’s a demanding auld so and so”) during her "Prismatic” tour.

Demands included that her dressing room be filled with custom-made French lamps, a director's chair with her name printed on it, a fridge with a glass door and egg chairs (we had to google those too).

She also asked for a separate room to "relax" which must be filled with fresh pink and white flowers.

But the most bizarre request on the list was that none of the staff speak to her. Heaven forbid.

Send her our way lads, we’ll happily not speak to Katy Perry.
