The power suit

The power of a great suit has long been known, but if you’re feeling even braver, why not go for this statement-making cool grey version? The wrap-style blazer coat cinches the waist, while modern wide-legged trousers give the classic power suit a contemporary edge. From Access Fashion, the Greek brand is distributed in Ireland by The Clothing Agency and is available through leading independent boutiques nationwide, including Sheena’s in Cork, The Stables in Birr and Aisling Maher in Adare. Coat €266, trousers €132.

The fourth Dublin Independent Fashion Week kicks off this Thursday. A designer-led platform dedicated to supporting Ireland’s emerging and established fashion talent, it is founded by creatives, for creatives, and quickly becoming one the most important dates in Ireland’s fashion calendar.

One of this year’s featured designers is Sarah O’Neill, whose latest creation, The Fold Shirt (pictured), €230, is not just a beautiful piece of art, but a sign of what is to come. Made from 100% Turkish linen deadstock fabric from a luxury fashion house, each shirt comes with its own Digital Product Passport, allowing you to scan and see the fabric’s origin and exact carbon footprint. Other events on our must-do list this year? A keynote from designer Claire Garvey, a community swap shop and Pellador’s runway show.

We have good news for fans of Femfuelz’s beloved White & Milk Chocolate Hazelnut flavour. It is finally back on the shelves in Aldi this week. The limited-edition flavour was created exclusively by the Limerick brand for the retailer, so, as its fans will know, it’s only around the middle aisles for a short time.

It tastes like Kinder Bueno and packs 23g of protein per 30g scoop, with just 110 calories per serving. Stock up while you can — but leave some for us, please! €16.49, 300g.

Her lip oils have a permanent place on our work desk, in our handbags and by our bedside. Yes, we are of course talking about Keilidh Cashell’s KASH Beauty brand, who have launched a new setting duo we can’t wait to try. Dubbed ‘Total Hold’ the primer and setting spray, €25 each or €40 when bundled, promise a lightweight but long-wearing hold that will grip and lock in your makeup for up to 12 hours.

Non-comedogenic and alcohol-free, pair with a light dusting of the brand’s loose powder for a look that will last.
