McCririck accuses Channel 4 of ageism in lawsuit

Horse racing pundit John McCririck has launched a £3m (€3.5m) claim against Channel 4.

At an employment tribunal in central London today, the 73-year-old argued the broadcaster sacked him because of his age, something Channel 4 denies.

He is claiming damages and compensation for loss of future earnings, unfair damage to his career, public humiliation, stress and mental anguish.
