Lohan's father denies violence charge
The lawyer for the estranged father of actress Lindsay Lohan said today that he has entered a not guilty plea to domestic violence charges against his client.
Michael Lohan was supposed to appear before Judge Walter Heinrich in Tampa, Florida, this afternoon.
The Tampa Tribune reported that a bond hearing is scheduled for November 16.
Lohan, 51, was first arrested on October 25. His bail was set at $5,000 and a judge warned him not to make any contact with Kate Major, his on-off girlfriend.
Two days later, he was accused of violating the terms of his release by making a harassing phone call to her.
In an unrelated matter, Los Angeles authorities said Miss Major was arrested on Monday after committing an alleged assault at Los Angeles International Airport.
