Pregnant Holly Willoughby missed tonight’s 'Dancing on Ice' after she was advised to rest by doctors.

Co-host Phillip Schofield revealed that Willoughby “is suffering from migraines and has been advised by her doctor to rest” on Twitter earlier today.

Coleen Nolan, who works alongside the pair on ITV daytime show 'This Morning', stepped in to co-present tonight’s skating contest.

'Loose Women' regular Nolan, who skated herself in 2009, has also presented the spin-off show 'Dancing on Ice Friday'.

Schofield later tweeted “Get well soon Holly x x” and just before tonight’s show started he added: “Very odd getting ready for the show without @hollywills.”

Willoughby's manager John Knight said she is also likely to miss tomorrow's 'This Morning' show so she can rest.

“Overnight Holly developed quite a migraine and as a precaution decided to have the symptoms checked out by her doctor.

“She was advised to rest today so is unfortunately unable to host Dancing on Ice this evening,” he said.

Willoughby, 30, who is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin whom she met on children’s show 'Ministry Of Mayhem', is expecting her second child in May.

She revealed she was expecting a girl on 'This Morning' last month.

The couple’s son, Harry, will be two in May.
