The British indie band Supergrass – who had hits in the 90s with feelgood summer singles ‘Alright’, ‘Sun Hits the Sky’ and ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’ – have agreed to part ways after 17 years and six studio albums together.

The British indie band Supergrass – who had hits in the 90s with feelgood summer singles ‘Alright’, ‘Sun Hits the Sky’ and ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’ – have agreed to part ways after 17 years and six studio albums together.

The four-piece group - consisting of singer-guitarist Gaz Coombes, drummer Danny Goffey, bassist Mick Quinn and keyboard player Rob Coombes – cited “musical differences” as the reason for the split.
