Jordan puts on public show of affection at horse trials
Former glamour model Katie Price today put on a public show of affection with her new boyfriend on a visit to one of the country’s leading horse shows.
The star attracted hundreds of supporters as she signed merchandise from her own range at the Burghley Horse Trials near Stamford, Lincolnshire.
The mum-of-three was accompanied by cage fighter boyfriend Alex Reid, dismissing any rumours of problems between the couple over revelations about sex scenes in the 34-year-old’s film.
Reid sat next to next to the former glamour model as she signed merchandise from her own horseriding range KP Equestrian, made by company Derby House.
Despite stifling the odd yawn and making phone calls during the half-hour visit, Reid took time to pose for pictures with fans, and when asked of his own interest in horses said: “It’s a bit of fun.”
As crowds gathered for the couple, and for pictures with him, he told a following camera crew: “It’s no more Mr Anonymity.”
His girlfriend seemed more at ease in the limelight, arriving to screams of “I love you” from starstruck fans.
Sporting black leggings and black wellington boots with a black KP t-shirt and pink jacket, she said: “I’m late because the helicopter took its time.”
She jokingly told the crowd she thought her own range was “better than anything else here”, and when asked of her own interest in the sport she said her new horse, named Jordan’s Cross Dresser, is due to arrive from Holland tomorrow.
“I can’t wait, I went to Holland last week. It’s black but it’s gorgeous,” she said.
“It’s only six but I am sure we can learn together.”
The mother-of-three spent around half an hour signing pictures and merchandise, after promising fans she would try to “satisfy” everyone.
Afterwards, she was presented with a sports bra in support of the Help the Heroes campaign, which she pledged her support to.
She joked: “I don’t think that will work with mine, do you? But I’ll try and test it.
“What do you want me to do, jog around the block?
“And anything I can do for the charity just let me know.”
After the short event, the star and her boyfriend made a walk through the site, followed by a mob of fans.
Flanked by security staff, they held hands and comfortably chatted as they strolled through the grounds.
The visit came on the last day of the trials, which feature three-day eventing star Zara Phillips and a host of other leading riders.
