Pink is Perry's inspiration

Katy Perry is “inspired” by Pink.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer is such a fan of the ‘So What’ vocalist she went to see her perform in Australia on Thursday, and swiftly took to her Twitter page to praise her.

Perry – who is known for her outrageous stage outfits – admitted she was jealous of 29-year-old Pink’s clothes.

Pink is not the only music star Katy is in awe of.

She has previously admitted she was a huge fan of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani.

She said: “When I grow up I want to be just like Gwen Stefani. It's not a race it's a marathon. I keep telling myself this.”
