Same old thing in 'Fast and Furious'

This is the fourth in an action-packed series that has its dedicated fans, but never seems to add anything new to the genre.

Here we have O’Conner (Walker) getting out of jail and teaming up with Toretto (Diesel) to infiltrate a drug gang and bring the baddies to book.

There’s the expected action but there’s also the feeling – hopefully – that this clapped-out series is heading for the breaker’s yard even with the expected noise, explosions, frantic car chases and spectacular wrecks.
