The 'Porcelain' producer was focused on making a name for himself as a scientist until he found music - taking up guitar lessons aged 13.

However, it wasn't until he watched late hellraiser Sid Vicious perform on TV that the star decided he wanted to become a famous musician.

"Up until I was 13 I wanted to be a scientist," said Moby. "Any type of scientist would have been good.

"After 13, I really wanted to be a guitar player. I saw a Sid Vicious video and it scared me so much I decided to form a punk rock band."
