Britney Spears has brought her two sons back to her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, for the first time since losing custody of the boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The 26-year-old singer arrived with sons Preston, three, and Jayden, two, by private jet on Friday to visit the family home, according to reports. She was accompanied by her dad Jamie, who has been given control of her business affairs.

“This is a terrific indication of the progress she’s made, and the growing trust between the two parents,” a source close to the star told people.com. “It was arranged co-operatively between Kevin and the lawyers.”
