Wahlberg: 'No chance' for music comeback

Mark Wahlberg has vowed not to return to his musical roots - because he's found his calling as a Hollywood movie star.

Wahlberg first rose to fame as a rapper after his 1991 debut with Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

But the star insists he has no plans to return to the mic.

He says: "I just felt like I wanted to do music early on", but now he admits he's desperate to hide his embarrassing musical past from his three young children.

He adds: "I'm trying to figure out some way to destroy the evidence. I have a few years to come up with a good excuse but I have a lot of explaining to do."
