Big Brother: Birthday party proves drag for Mario

The male Big Brother contestants celebrated Mohamed Mohamed’s 24th birthday in drag – with one reluctant housemate at first refusing to join the other cross-dressers.

Mario Marconi had told the others that he would not dress as a woman for last night’s party, but later had a change of heart.

After encouragement from his partner Lisa Appleton, Mario donned a skin-tight yellow outfit and pink baseball cap and paraded as “Mary” to a chorus of cheers from his fellow housemates.

“My name’s Mary,” he said. “I’m in character now.”

The housemates assembled in the living area and sang Happy Birthday to Mohamed who turned 24 yesterday.
