'Only Fools And Horses' voted 'best TV ending'
'Only Fools And Horses' has been voted the show with the best ever TV ending.
The 1996 Christmas special saw Del Boy and Rodney Trotter become overnight millionaires after discovering a valuable watch.
It was billed as the last episode of the BBC sitcom - although the show was revived five years later.
The survey by TV Bafta sponsor Pioneer asked viewers to name their favourite finale.
Second was 'The Vicar Of Dibley', which bowed out at New Year with Dawn French's character Geraldine Granger marrying handsome Harry Kennedy.
'The Office' was third, scoring highly with viewers for the moment in which Tim and Dawn got together at their Christmas party.
The other shows in the top 10 were 'Life On Mars', 'The Royle Family', 'Cold Feet', 'Prime Suspect', 'This Life', 'Sex And The City' and 'Dawson's Creek'.
Viewers were also asked to name and shame the worst ever TV endings.
Top of the list was 'Crossroads', which was revived in 2001 but axed two years later.
In the final episode, it was revealed that the entire show had been a dream in the mind of a supermarket checkout worker, played by Jane Asher.
'Footballers' Wives' was second, followed by 'Dallas' and 'Bad Girls'.
The TV Baftas take place this Sunday and a host of final episodes have been nominated for awards.
'The Vicar Of Dibley', 'Prime Suspect' and 'The Royle Family' are all in the running.
