George Michael has slammed suggestions Wham! Will reform, insisting that he and former bandmember Andrew Ridgeley have moved on with their lives.

Although they have performed together on stage as part of Michael's solo tour, the 'Careless Whisper' singer has turned down big money offers to reunite the band because, he believes it would "be almost as bad as The Sex Pistols when they reformed".

"I've never been tempted because Wham! was of its time," he said. "When the group started, Andrew and I were both kids.

"We were at an age where how you were developing as a person was just as important as the songs you were writing.
