Hurley married in private civil ceremony

Liz Hurley was married yesterday in a private civil ceremony at a Gloucestershire castle, it was confirmed today.

Ms Hurley, 41, wed 42-year-old Indian businessman Arun Nayar in a licensed room in Sudeley Castle.

The former Hollywood actress had wanted to keep yesterday's arrangements secret.

But a spokesman for Gloucestershire County Council today confirmed the civil ceremony took place, following reports in the Daily Mirror.

The couple will celebrate the marriage with a church service in a building adjacent to the castle at 6.30 this evening.
