BB: Sam out, Suzie in

Transexual housemate Sam was evicted from the Big Brother house tonight making way for a new golden housemate.

The 19-year-old Scot wept as he was told that after just 13 days in the house, he was to be facing the outside world again.

24-year-old Nikki, meanwhile, jumped for joy, having survived the public vote. She told other housemates after Sam had left: “I can’t believe it. I have been here for a month now and I have another whole week!

“I can’t believe it. I’m absolutely gobsmacked.”

Later, the housemates gathered in the garden as one of 35 Golden Ticket holders was picked to enter the house.

Suzie Verrico was lucky number 14 golden ticket winner.

Her number was picked by housemate Aisleyne in a lottery-style draw.

As she posed for cameras, Davina told how she paid ÂŁ4,000 for a ticket and she pledged to stamp out foul language in the house.

She believes her life will change because her appearance in the house will bring her media attention. She thinks people may think her stuck up, may be intimidated by her confidence and find her “a little bossy”.

She doesn’t lend out shoes or clothes and finds other peoples’ bodily functions irritating.

Sam was evicted with 53.7% of the total votes cast.

As he left the house ealier, he was treated to some much-needed cat calls and wolf whistles from the legions of BB fans gathered outside.

Speaking to host Davina MacCall, he said he had “no regrets” about his time in the house.

Davina asked why he had kept saying “I’m sorry” as he left the house.

He replied: “I am apologetic for everything I do, I think it’s just the life I’ve gone through.

“Sometimes I don’t need to apologise for anything because at the end of the day, I’m just my own person and people should take me for who I am.” Davina told him this year’s BB house had been “one of the bitchiest houses we have ever had” and that he appeared to have been the main target – evidenced by his row with Lea.

“What was it like, living in that atmosphere?” Davina asked.

“You’re here for the entertainment and the enjoyment of the whole experience and a lot of people take it too seriously,” he replied.

Asked what he had learned in the house, he said: “That I can cope in very vicious, bitchy conversations about people, I’m quite a strong person I think.

“I don’t actually have any regrets.”

Asked for advice for the housemate entering tonight, he said: “Keep your wits about you and stay away from Lea.”

The public may have chosen to keep Nikki in after her performance in a drunken game of spin the bottle on Thursday night.

The party girl was happy to first kiss 35-year-old model and single mum Lea to whoops and cheers from the other housemates.

Nikki then went into a passionate clinch with Pete – and there could be love in the air for the pair.

Even when the game had finished, they carried on kissing and ended up sharing a bed for the night.

Bingo-loving Desperate Housewives fan Sam, from Irvine in North Ayshire, Scotland, is a Princess Diana fan and boasted of how he once spent ÂŁ495 on a designer handbag.

He said his biggest regret is moving from a private school to a state school and his happiest times were living in Indonesia as a child.

Shortly after arriving in the house, 43-year-old Suzie, from West Malling in Kent, was summoned to the diary room.

There, she was told by Big Brother that as the Golden Housemate, she must follow the Golden Rules.

She is forbidden from disclosing any information that she may have learned from the outside world about Big Brother.

She will have her own private Golden Quarters. She will sleep in a Golden Bedroom, use the Golden Toilet and take a Golden Shower every day.

She must wear gold at all times. She was handed a golden, off-the-shoulder outfit to wear and, after changing, told Big Brother: “I feel like a Christmas tree.”

While Suzie was changing, the housemates were told that she will be the only person to nominate housemates for the public vote and nominations will take place on Monday.
