Lil' Kim had 'nothing to do with lock-down'

Jailed rapper Lil' Kim is on lock-down with the rest of her prison unit after a visitor attempted to smuggle a mobile phone in.

Kim - real name Kimberley Jones - and half of the fellow female inmates have been on lock-down since April 21 amid reports the smuggled phone was intended for her use.

But Kim's lawyer James J Leonard Jr blasts: "The rumours that Kim was using a cell phone or had someone sneak a cell phone into the prison for her are completely untrue.

"While her unit is on lock-down and has been since April 21, the reason for the lock-down has nothing to do with Kim."
