Combs apologises to Beckford

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has publicly apologised to Tyson Beckford for the "discomfort" which led the model to hit him with a €4m lawsuit last month.

Beckford claimed in his lawsuit filed against the rap mogul that Combs' Sean John clothing label owed him money after using his image when his contract had expired.

He also claimed he was only paid €488,000 of the contractual €977,000 he alleges he agreed to.

But the pair were seen patching up their differences during a fashion show on Friday, and Combs now tells AllHipHop.com: "He's an icon and (I respect him) for what he's done for black people in the fashion industry and I'm going to make sure that we get together and we straighten it out. It's not a problem.

"He's somebody that I respect and in fashion, sometimes you decide not to go with a model for another season - its regular practice. Apparently, there was something still on the website. It wasn't clear.

"I apologise to him for any discomfort that he incurred. I'm doing my best to make sure that gets rectified, but its not like I owe him money or anything like that."
