Bullock joy at being put out on sidewalk

Actress Sandra Bullock was all smiles as she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the same day her comedy Miss Congeniality 2 opened in the US.

Bullock, who shot to stardom in 1994 when she appeared in the action-packed Speed, was honoured for a career that includes films such as Miss Congeniality, The Net, Hope Floats and While You Were Sleeping.
