Bisexual singer enters BB house

A bisexual singer was introduced to the Big Brother house today in a bid to liven up the reality show.

Moroccan-born brunette Becki Seddiki, 33, entered the house with a bright pink suitcase and explored the bedroom while the nine unwitting housemates were told to gather in the lounge.

She made her surprise entry when Big Brother announced her name and summoned her to the Diary Room, leaving the housemates open-mouthed in shock.

Daniel clapped and cheered as the new housemate, wearing a pink and black striped top and black trousers, strolled past the group, while others looked on smiling in amazement and disbelief.

Becki, who works as a trainee florist and lives in north London, emerged from the Diary Room and began reading out a statement from Big Brother in a strong Italian accent.

She initially told the group she had been a Big Brother contestant in Italy, but soon confessed she was bluffing and was actually English.

Her arrival immediately lifted the mood of the housemates, who have endured an alcohol ban since their infamous brawl 10 days ago.

Becki appeared completely at ease as she sat down and chatted with the housemates in the garden.

The Londoner, who sings under the stage name BB Seddiki, has no recording deal but has released a number of R&B and pop tracks on the internet.

According to her personal website, www.bbseddiki.com, she has previously performed in a London West End musical and as a club dancer, and has appeared in several one-off TV shows.

Producers decided to bring Becki in following the departure of three female contestants – Kitten, Emma and Vanessa – in the first four weeks of the show.

Feisty Kitten was the first to be booted out for breaking Big Brother rules three times, while loudmouth Emma was forced to leave after her alcohol-fuelled bust-up with Victor.

On Friday, South African blonde Vanessa became the first housemate to be evicted by public vote.

Meanwhile, the housemates’ misery at not being allowed any alcohol was compounded last night when they lost £3,000 (€4,500) of the eventual winner’s prize money after their latest Saturday night challenge.

The prize fund now stands at £74,000 (€111,100), down from £100,000 (€150,100) at the start of the Channel 4 series.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes now make Daniel 5/2 favourite the win the fifth series, followed by Shell and Stuart (both at 3/1), Marco (7/1) and Michelle (9/1).

Despite being a newcomer, Becki comes next at 10/1, followed by Nadia (14/1), Victor (25/1), Jason (33/1) and Ahmed (50/1).
